“We" and the "Company" refer throughout to "Cartes d‘Amour" and "You" refers throughout to the Client who places an order with us.
Copyright of all Cartes d’Amour designs are owned by Tracey McAllister. In the creation of handcrafted bespoke designs to suit client requirements, the final products are always owned by Tracey McAllister.
Products - We reserve the right to substitute materials used in card designs with those of the most equivalent or similar quality. Each card is uniquely handcrafted for you, therefore there may be slight variations to each handmade card. Every care has been taken to describe and portray cards accurately using current printing technology.
Card Samples - Refusal of samples is at our discretion. Samples are charged at £5.00 per set of three chosen items (e.g. 1 x Day Invitation, 1 x Evening Invitation and 1 x Order of Service) or of 3 x separate designs delivered without charge to all UK destinations, a small charge will be required for International orders. Please contact us for details.
Prices & Retention of Title - We retain the ownership of all goods supplied until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to change card and delivery prices without formal notice.
Delivery Dates - Delivery dates are given in good faith. We cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for any losses arising due to failure to meet such delivery dates. If you have not received our cards, you must notify us as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by any other third party. If for any reason, your card order is delayed we will always inform you immediately.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Your statutory rights are not affected. For wedding stationery orders cancelled before work on designs begin, we will retain the proof charge and/or 50% deposit paid. If creation of wedding stationery has already begun, we will retain the full deposit and final payment required to cover material and labour costs. The £5.00 sample fee will always be refundable against an order. Non-personalised cards are refunded or exchanged if returned to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of delivery date. Return of goods is paid for by client.
Proofs & Personalisation - When submitting your amended proofs, please check all spellings and details thoroughly. We cannot accept liability for incorrectly spelt stationery if signed proofs were not properly checked and incorrect details were provided to us or if the client requests not to amend/view any proofs. Any amendments required after signed approval will be charged for. Final proofing and amendments are the responsibility of the client. You hereby agree to indemnify us in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libelous matter or any infringement of proprietary or personal rights contained in any cards produced for you. We may decline any order for personalisation that we feel are offensive or illegal and reserve the right to reject an order if we suspect that it is not a legitimate order.
Privacy - We are committed to ensuring your privacy and do not under any circumstances share or sell names or any other information about you to any other person or business. We are very concerned about the security of your information and only collect information about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you in the future without your consent unless it is regarding an order and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
Web Content - Images of cards displayed on this website are not true sizes of actual products. The colour of images may vary slightly from the true colour.
Consumer Rights - None of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory consumer rights.
The Contract between the client and Cartes d’Amour will be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved by the English courts.
